NFF House On Fire

NFF House
The Nigeria Football Federation offices in Abuja was Wednesday morning engulfed in flames even as the embattled Aminu Maigari led board are trying to settle down to work.
The upheaval at the NFF doesn't look to have abated as the offices of the General Secretary and the Chief Accountants was engulfed in fire with several valuable information lost in the process.
Sources in the Glass House told supersport.com that the fire first started through an electrical fault in the Chief Accountants office but soon spread to the General Secretary's office.
Aminu Maigari, who just returned to office on Monday this week has been on the burner after being impeached by the NFF Executive Committee before being reinstated by Fifa to oversee the NFF General Elections earlier scheduled for the end of August.
This latest set back will be one in a long line of unprecedented events unfolding in Nigerian football since the end of the Fifa 2014 which was hosted by Brazil.
Already on borders end is the NFF vice president, Mike Umeh, who has distanced himself from the reinstated Aminu Maigari board insisting the President was legally impeached and therefore has no legal basis to parade himself as the de facto head of the Federation
