Matic trains with Hazard

CHELSEA’S wantaway star Nemanja Matic was joined Eden Hazard at the club’s Cobham training base on Wednesday after being left out of the Blues’ tour of Asia.
The midfielder is desperate to reunite with former Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. And last week he received a huge boost as owner Roman Abramovich gave him the green light to move to Old Trafford if the Red Devils meet his £50million valuation.
Antonio Conte opted to leave the 28-year-old out of his party heading out to the Far East with his heart seemingly set on departing West London.
He has instead stayed in England, and was spotted this morning being put through his paces along with the Belgian ace.
The duo were working on their fitness as their teammates continued their preparation for the new campaign in Singapore ahead of Saturday’s friendly clash against Inter Milan.
He is expected to have to wear a face mask until the injury fully healsAlthough Blues supporters will be boosted to have seen him out on the turf without one as he took part several short sprints.
Matic seemed to be in good spirits despite his future still being up in the air. United have already had a £35m bid rejected for him earlier this summer.
However, following the thumbs up from Abramovich, Mourinho will be hoping to get a deal sorted as quickly as possible.
