Neymar to PSG almost done

NEYMAR’S proposed £195million deal to sign for Paris Saint-Germain should be completed by the end of the week, according to reports.

The 25-year-old has grown tired of living in Lionel Messi’s shadow at Barcelona, and will seal a world-record fee to link up with Unai Emery’s men imminently. According to French journalist Jonathan MacHardy, the move is a seemingly inevitability to join the Ligue 1 giants.
The two main sticking points concerning the deal at the moment are the fact Neymar wants his own image rights, as well as PSG cautious of Financial Fair Play regulations.
SunSport revealed recently that PSG and the Brazilian international have already agreed personal terms, where he is in line to earn £27million-a-year after tax.
Yesterday it was reported that the French club have a contract waiting on the table for the former Santos star, with it ready to be signed within the next few days.
The news contradicts Gerard Pique’s post he made on Twitter where he uploaded a picture of the two, captioning it: “He stays.”
It was also believed that Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez successfully convinced Neymar to shun the interest from PSG, though it looks as though they have failed in persuading him to stay. His last outing for Barca came in the 2-1 victory against Serie A side Juventus in the International Champions Cup on the weekend.
He gave a glimpse why is he is poised to become the world’s most expensive player – breaking Paul Pogba’s current record by more than £100m after he signed for Manchester United for £89million last summer.
Neymar managed to bag both the goals in the pre-season clash in America, scoring two expert goals, where he glided through the defence of the Italians on both occasions. According to news outlet Globo, Neymar spoke to his Brazilian team-mates Marquinhos and Thiago Silva last week to tell them he is moving to the Parc des Princes.
Silva recently declared it would be brilliant if he signed for PSG, he old the press: "I’ve heard a lot of journalists talking, but at the minute there is nothing concrete although I think it is important for the PSG project.
“It’s always good to have great players like him.
“If he comes, it will be good for the group."
In 186 games for Barcelona in all competitions, the 2016 Olympic gold medal winner netted a staggering 105 times.
He proved to be a massive hit in Catalonia during his four season stay, winning two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey's, one Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup.
