GALATASARAY are reportedly set to make a shock move for Arsenal star Alex Iwobi

GALATASARAY are reportedly set to make a shock move for Arsenal star Alex Iwobi.
The Turkish giants want the Nigerian on a season-long loan from the Gunners. TakVim in Turkey claim Gala’s sporting director Cenk Ergun has already begun talks with Emirates chiefs over the swoop.
And he is willing to travel to London next week in order to finalise the deal.
Iwobi, 21, has only featured for 11 minutes for Arsenal so far this season in the Premier League.
But Arsene Wenger is unlikely to want to lose a member of his squad after their mixed start to the campaign.
And although he is not a guaranteed starter, Iwobi will be confident that he will not just be left on the bench to stagnate for the North London outfit. He was a key part of Wenger’s side last campaign, scoring four and assisting eight goals in his 39 appearances.
Iwobi is under contract until 2020.
Arsenal are desperately trying to keep hold of a number of stars this transfer window. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to reject a new deal as Chelsea and Liverpool plot a move.
And fellow contract rebel Alexis Sanchez continues to be chased by Manchester City.
