NEYMAR is already making a splash in France after his world record-breaking transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 25-year-old forward was seen jumping off a yacht during a holiday in Saint-Tropez, days after completing his £198m move to Ligue 1. Donning fluorescent green shorts, he was more than happy to pose for the camera with his pals – ecstatic about starting a new stage in his career.
It hasn’t taken him long to get a reputation of being a diver in France – as he confidently leapt off the yacht into the ocean much to the delight of his adoring pals.
The images would have surely worried the PSG hierarchy – desperately hoping he avoids the slightest of injuries.
He is enjoying his last few days of freedom as he looks to play his first competitive match for Unai Emery’s men against Guingamp on Sunday.
The former Barcelona star had to miss out on the 2-0 win against Amiens last Saturday after he was not registered in time.
A paperwork malfunction between the French side and the Catalan club left Neymar to watch from the stands – where he was paraded in front of his new fans at half time. Though he has immediately cast himself as a villain in the eyes of his former supporters at the Nou Camp who worshipped him.
Fans have burned shirts on with his name on the back as his deal edged closer last week.
Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez all failed in their attempts to persuade Neymar to stay at Barcelona – as he wanted to stop playing in the shadow of the Argentinian magician.
However the Cope del Rey champions could have the last laugh as they plan to raid PSG for their own star – Julian Draxler.
The German’s agent was spotted at Barcelona airport , while they are also on the hunt for Draxler’s team-mate – Marco Verratti.
