Inter 3 AC Milan 2: Mauro Icardi hat-trick seals first derby win

MAURO ICARDI scored an incredible hat-trick to fire Inter Milan to a derby win over fierce rivals AC.
The Argentine fired in a 90th minute winner from the penalty spot as Inter recorded their first derby win since 2015. Both sides sported new-look teams after being pumped with Chinese money over the last summer.
Liverpool flop Fabio Borini was a surprise choice at right wing-back for Milan.
And the move appeared to backfire as Inter raced into a deserved lead through captain Icardi.
However, Milan brought on Patrick Crutone at half-time and he soon had an impact as Suso fired in an equaliser. Icardi restored Inter's lead before a mistake from goalie Samir Handanovic saw Milan level with ten minutes to go.
However, Ricardo Rodriguez gave away a clumsy penalty as the clock ticked into the dying minutes.
And captain Icardi stepped up to the spot to hand Inter a vital win at the San Siro.
The result sees Inter move ten points above AC, and serious questions are sure to be asked of Vincenzo Montella... especially with Carlo Ancelotti available.
