Jack Wilshere fitness to be checked by England boss

GARETH SOUTHGATE will check on the fitness of Jack Wilshere on Saturday.
The England manager names his squad for the prestige friendlies at home to Germany and Brazil on Thursday. Wilshere, 25, is fit again for Arsenal but only made his first Premier League appearance of the season at Everton a week ago.
The midfielder should be on the bench at home to Swansea but Southgate remains a fan and wants to check his progress.
He will also watch on-loan Swans striker Tammy Abraham.
Assistant Steve Holland will be at Crystal Palace against West Ham. Wilshere has been restricted to just six appearances this season, but has thrived when given the opportunity by boss Arsene Wenger.
He came on as a second half substitute against the Toffees last Sunday, and immediately set up Aaron Ramsey who put the Gunners 4-1 up. And he will desperate to force his way back in the starting XI as he attempts to dislodge the central midfield partnership of Ramsey and Granit Xhaka.
Arsenal know a win against their Welsh opponents is vital going into next week's huge clash with table-toppers Manchester City at the Etihad.
