Mauricio Pochettino insists Spurs can still beat Manchester United without injured Harry Kane

MAURICIO POCHETTINO says Tottenham can still beat Manchester United without Harry Kane.
Spurs have been rocked by news their talisman will miss today’s lunchtime trip to Old Trafford with a hamstring injury. But fired-up boss Poch said: “Can we still win? Yes, of course. I always believe that we can win with one or another team — with one or another player.”
Summer buy Fernando Llorente is set to partner Heung-min Son in the Tottenham attack.
And Pochettino said: “We’ve played without Harry before. We have Fernando and, if you remember last season when Harry missed many games, we used Sonny.
“It’s about finding the best solution and balance for the team.” United manager Jose Mourinho has his own injury headaches.
Pre-empting any mention of crock Kane, the Portuguese said: “I don’t speak about injured players. “So don’t ask me about Harry Kane as I have to speak about Marcos Rojo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick.
“Phil Jones was on the bench Tuesday, so he’s really ready, and Eric Bailly, let’s see. “But he’s the only one close from the injured group.”
Mourinho was accused of ‘parking the bus’ in United’s 0-0 snore draw at Liverpool a fortnight ago.
But Spurs chief Poch added: “I don’t believe any manager plays for a 0-0 draw.
“Of course they are going to try to win the game — and for us it is the same.”
