Old Trafford chiefs open talks over a £30m deal for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler

MANCHESTER UNITED have opened talks over a £30million deal for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
Jose Mourinho has moved swiftly for the Spain Under-21s star and wants a deal wrapped up for next season. The Special One has Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick out of contract in the summer.
United may still agree fresh terms with their central midfielders and Soler, 20, is seen as a massive prospect.
But he is seen as a long-term contender to play alongside Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
And they want a deal sorted NOW instead of getting involved in a bidding war during transfer windows. Soler has been a regular in La Liga for almost two years after making his breakthrough with a step up from Valencia's reserves.
He has a buyout clause of £75million but the Spaniards are set to accept a cash offer for their young star. Soler insisted this season: "That's something that's done by the club, by agents.
"When I go out on the pitch to play, I'm not thinking: 'wow, I've got a really high buy-out clause and I've got a lot of responsibility on my shoulders.'"
