Slovenia 2 Scotland 2: Gordon Strachan’s side FAIL to qualify for World Cup 2018

SCOTLAND will NOT be going to the World Cup next summer.
Roman Bezjak scored twice to break Scottish hearts as Gordon Strachan's men drew 2-2 in Ljubljana. Scotland have not made the play-offs and have now been eliminated from World Cup contention after struggling in group F.
Leigh Griffiths put Scotland ahead just after the half hour mark with a strike from a tight angle past the helpless hands of Jan Oblak.
Roman Bezjak kicked off a Slovenia comeback after half-time with a clever headed effort into the bottom corner.
He doubled his tally 20 minutes later from close range as the Scottish defence fail to clear their lines, yet again. An 88th minute strike from Robert Snodgrass gave the Scot's hope, but it was not enough.
Snodgrass latched onto Darren Fletcher's through ball, before slotting it past Oblak.
All of a sudden, the World Cup dream reignited for the visitors.
The dying stages of the game descended into chaos with Cesar, Berra and Verbic all picking up yellow cards during stoppage time.
Cesar picked up a 90th minute received a red card for a controversial incident with defender Berra.
The two clubs tussled until the end, but the visitors were unable to find a winner.
