West Brom 2 Man City 3: it is eighth straight win for the Citizens

MANCHESTER CITY claimed their eighth Premier League win in a row after narrowly beating West Brom 2-1 at the Hawthorns.
Despite Matt Phillips pulling a goal back in injury time, the Citizens moved five points clear at the op after goals from Leroy Sane, Fernandinho and Raheem Sterling.
Manchester City winger Leroy Sane opened the scoring early on at the Hawthorns
Pep Gaurdiola's men got off to the perfect start after Sane fired the Eastlands outfit in front in the tenth minute - striking low into the bottom corner.
But just three minutes later, baggies striker Jay Rodriguez equalised, out-muscling John Stones to slot low under Ederson.
Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho then got his side back into the lead in the 15th minute, as his deflected attempt clipped the defender and into the back of the net. Raheem Sterling then netted his ninth goal of the campaign in the second half as he tapped home from close range. David Silva found Kyle Walker down the right flank, and the right-back delivered a pinpoint cross for his England compatriot. It looked as though City would then run riot, and would have scored more if not for the heroics of Ben Foster.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper denied Gabriel Jesus in the 75th minute, before Kevin De Bruyne's effort slammed against the side netting. Foster then had to be at his best to thwart Silva, as the Spanish internationals shot from six yards out was turned away by his feet. Phillips then nicked a late goal, as the ex-QPR ace capitalised on a poor mistake from Nicolas Otamendi.
His awful chested clearance allowed Phillips to latch onto the ball, and he made no mistake to poke the ball past Ederson.
It just ten top-flight games, City have netted an astounding 35 goals - conceding a mere six times.
It's grim reading for West Brom, they are without a goal since the second week of the season.
