Zinedine Zidane fails to rule out Harry Kane transfer as Real Madrid

ZINEDINE ZIDANE has failed to rule out a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Real Madrid host Spurs in the first leg of their Champions League double-header on Tuesday. And – despite claims that last season’s Premier League runners-up are far from a one-man team – the French boss is in no doubt who will be their danger man at the Bernabeu.
Asked about Kane’s threat at Real’s pre-match press conference, Zidane admitted that the England hotshot is a “complete player”.
The Madrid chief said: “He is the fundamental player for Tottenham.
“He is very good at everything, the best thing is that he is always thinking about goals. “He is a complete player. He didn't seem to be [when he was younger], but in the end, that is what he is.”
Kane, 24, has established himself as one of the top striker in Europe this season, netting 11 goals in September alone.
The tally included FIVE in two Champions League games – one more than Cristiano Ronaldo.
That sizzling form has seen the on-fire frontman linked with a mega-money summer move to the two-time defending European champions. He even admitted he could "never rule out" joining the La Liga giants in the future.
And Zidane did not deny there was any interest on the Spaniards’ side.
Quizzed whether he saw Kane’s future in Madrid, he admitted: “I don’t know what will happen in the future.” The sides are tied at the top of Group H on six points after two games. But with rivals Borussia Dortmund still to play minnows APOEL Nicosia twice, the clash in Spain could still be crucial for the pair’s hopes of qualifying.
Gareth Bale will not be fit to take on his old side but fellow former-Spurs star Luka Modric will feature.
Zidane put the Croatian was put through his paces with Madrid team-mates, including Ronaldo, on Monday morning.
And he revealed he expects a tough night against Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Zidane added: “Tottenham is not just Kane - it is a very good team and we are going to prepare very well.
“We are playing against a very good team and that is good for us, it encourages us to play a good match.
“Tottenham has always been a great club, but they are constantly improving and they have a great coach.
“It will be a good game between two strong teams. It will be the group final.”
