Jose Mourinho could recall loan rebel Andreas Pereira from Valencia in January

MANCHESTER UNITED could recall loan rebel Andreas Pereira from Valencia in January, according to reports in Spain.
The highly-rated midfielder boldly went against the wishes of Jose Mourinho by forcing through a move away from Old Trafford when the Portuguese wanted him to stay as cover.

But the commendable Brazilian wanted to play first-team football and saw himself well below the first-team pecking order. Injuries to central-midfielders Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick have proved the Pereira would have been an ideal reserve to have around.
And, according to Plaza Deportiva, Mourinho could now end his La Liga learning experience by terminating his move at the start of 2018. Pereira has made eight league appearances, with four starts across September and October. And he scored a stunning goal in the thrilling 6-3 away win over Real Betis on October 10.
When the youngster made his move, Mourinho said: “It was a personal decision that I don't agree with, a decision I don't think honestly is the best decision for him, a decision that disappoints me. “He has the potential to be fighting for a position, for opportunities and to be a Manchester United player.
“His decision can be considered as a young player who wants to play every weekend but also a young player that is not ready to fight for something difficult and it's difficult to play in Manchester United’s midfield. “You have to be ready to fight for the position and I am disappointed he left.
“But it was his decision, I opened the door for his decision.
“But he has a long-term contract, we have the option to bring him back on January 1, so is not a drama but is a decision which disappoints me a little bit.”
