Jurgen Klopp launches swoop for PSG’s Arsenal target Julian Draxler as talks begin

LIVERPOOL have reportedly made contact with Paris Saint-Germain after reigniting their interest in Julian Draxler.
The Kop boys were interested in signing the 24-year-old last January.
Liverpool are launching another swoop for Julian Draxler
However, Jurgen Klopp lost out on his fellow countryman to the French giants.
But Liverpool are ramping up their efforts once again to try and bring the winger to Anfield once the transfer window reopens in the new year, according to the L'Equipe.
Draxler become one of the hottest properties in Europe during his time at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
A host of clubs around Europe were interested in signing the German star, including Arsenal. The ace felt a switch to the French capital would help him to reach the next step in his career, but the move has failed to work out as planned.
Draxler is in a fierce fight for his place with PSG and is battling the likes of the world's most-expensive player Neymar and superstar Kylian Mbappe for a place in the starting XI. He has appeared 16 times so far for the club this season, but his action has mainly come from the bench.
Draxler did get the opportunity to start and played for 67 minutes as PSG walloped Celtic 7-1 in the Champions League last night. With next summer's World Cup in mind, he is believed to be considering his future in order to get more football and book his seat on the plane to Russia.
And that has sparked Klopp's interest again in the attacker.
Although defensive reinforcements remains the Liverpool manager's priority, the opportunity to land one of his long-term targets would be too good to miss. But he will face competition for Draxler from home and abroad.
Several German sides are monitoring his situation, while Arsene Wenger still remains a keen admirer of the player and would love to bring him to the Emirates.
