Sam Allardyce gets Everton job

SAM ALLARDYCE is at Everton's training ground this afternoon after being tasked with trying to save the crisis club.
Sam Allardyce has a reputation for fixing struggling clubs
A 5-1 defeat at home to Atalanta was followed by a 4-1 rout at Southampton to pile the pressure on the Toffees.
Unsworth will likely take charge of his final match against West Ham tonight as Allardyce finalises the details of his contract.
The tactician has arrived back in England following a holiday in Dubai and is heading straight to Everton.
He is set to name former Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare and ex-Liverpool coach Sammy Lee as his two assistants, while Duncan Ferguson will remain part of the first team set-up. And they have turned to the famed fire fighter on a £100,000-a-week deal to make sure their expensive squad does not end up in the second tier.
SunSport exclusively revealed Goodison chiefs have performed a U-turn on appointing Allardyce as their  problems worsened. The veteran manager had been looked at as a short term option a couple of weeks ago before he pulled out of the race because he wanted a lengthy deal.
But Goodison owner Farhad Moshiri changed his stance as he failed to land Watford’s Marco Silva and original choice Carlo Ancelotti. SkySports reporter Jim White tweeted some comments from the businessman about his choice in boss.
He said: "We need a strong leader, he gives us that. "I really want to give him the support he needs. He can go as far as he wants."
