Sam Allardyce’s £100k-a-week Everton deal makes him one of world’s top-paid bosses

SAM ALLARDYCE is set to be handed an extraordinary £100,000-a-week in order to save crisis club Everton.
The former England boss, 63, arrived at Goodison Park on Wednesday to finalise a deal to finally replace Ronald Koeman.

Sam Allardyce will be the 12th highest-paid boss in the world at Everton
Caretaker boss David Unsworth has endured a rough time back on Merseyside, having been thumped in his previous two games.
Now, as Everton chiefs including Farhad Moshiri look to rescue their season, they're set to hand Big Sam the monster pay-cheque to work his magic.
No stranger to a relegation dogfight, Allardyce may well be the right man... but at £100,000-a-week, he will become the 12th highest-paid manager in the WORLD.
His mammoth weekly wages add up to an eye-watering £5.2million per year - ahead of Newcastle chief Rafa Benitez, PSG boss Unai Emery and Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone. Incredibly, the highest-paid manager in the world doesn't come from one of Europe's Big Five leagues.
Marcello Lippi takes home a barely-believable £18m per year for taking charge of China's national team. Manchester is the port of call for No2 and No3 on the list at Pep Guardiola (£15.3m) and Jose Mourinho (£15m) both come close to Lippi.
The Chinese Super League has been the cash-cow of choice for a whole host of players in recent seasons... but also bosses. Shanghai SIPG boss Andre Villas-Boas comes in at No4 on £11m per year, while Fabio Capello earns an annual salary of £8.9m at Jiangsu Suning.
Arsene Wenger comes in sixth with a yearly income of £8.3m at Arsenal, ahead of Zinedine Zidane and Ernesto Valverde.
The Barcelona and Real Madrid chiefs both pocket £8m per year, ahead of Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp (£7m) and Chelsea's Antonio Conte (£6.5m).
Tottenham chief Mauricio Pochettino earns £5.5m-a-year - just above Big Sam in the pay-day stakes.
