We are not selling Richarlison - Watford chief issues warning to Chelsea and Tottenham

WATFORD have issued a firm hands-off warning to clubs interested in their Brazilian star Richarlison.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation at Vicarage Road since his summer arrival from Fluminense.
Watford have issued a firm hands-off warning to admirers of Richarlison
He cost the Hornets £11.5million from the South Americans, but they could double that amount after the attacker's performances caught the attention of Tottenham and Chelsea.
Richarlison has already scored five goals in the Premier League and will be hoping to add to his ever-growing reputation with a positive display against Manchester Unitedtonight.
But no matter what money is offered by potential suitors in the next transfer window, Watford's chief executive Scott Duxbury is adamant the South American will not be sold.
He told the Evening Standard: "We want Richarlison to be here for many more seasons. "We are building a very competitive squad, we have no need to sell.
"We believe in the season being a race and that’s why we will never sell a player in January who we believe will help us. "Nobody will be sold that we don’t want to. None of the players making an impact now will go."
Watford have recently resisted all attempts from Everton to snatch their manager Marco Silva. The Toffees had a £10m compensation offer rejected by the Hornets.
And rather than cash in on their most-prized assets, Watford are instead determined to continuing bolstering their squad - even if their next financial results show a loss. Duxbury explained: "We believe if we need to buy players and make a loss, as long as it’s sustainable, we will be successful.
"We are here to be competitive. We have an owner that backs that philosophy."
