Antonio Conte to plead with England stars Gary Cahill and Danny Drinkwater not to kick Eden Hazard at World Cup

CHELSEA boss will plead with England stars Gary Cahill and Danny Drinkwater not to kick Eden Hazard at the World Cup.
England and Belgium were drawn in the same group for the World Cup in Russia next summer and are expected to go head-to-head for top spot in Group G.
Antonio Conte will be an interested spectator when England face Belgium at World Cup next year
The Premier League champions will have players in both squads with Michy Batshuayi also looking to be part of Roberto Martinez’s set up next year.
But Hazard is the main man and the feeling is if he has a good tournament, Belgiumcould make a huge impact in Russia.
But opposing countries will single Hazard out for special treatment and Conte hopes his club teams-mates won’t kick lumps out of him.
He said: “I have to speak with Cahill and Danny and tell them to avoid kicking Eden.” The Italian reckons Cahill could have the edge over Hazard when they clash on June 28 in Kaliningrad which is the final group game and could decide who goes through to the knockout stages as group winners.
He added: “For sure every day to have the training session with this player will make you stronger. “Gary knows very well Hazard’s skill, for this reason he must pay great attention.
“There are two teams to qualify for the next round, England and Belgium are favourites to do this in the World Cup.
“It will be special to see this game, if I have the possibility I would like to watch this game.”
