Atletico Madrid 2 Real Sociedad 1: Antoine Griezmann snatches late winner

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN scored an 88th minute winner to sink sorry Real Sociedad.
Filipe Luis bagged a second half equaliser to level Willian Jose's earlier opener at the Wanda Metropolitano.

 Antoine Griezmann scored the latewinner
Sociedad were awarded a penalty just before the half hour mark when Mikel Oyarzabal tumbled in the area.
Brazilian ace Jose stepped up and buried the strike confidently down the middle from the spot.
Griezmann almost found the equaliser after the interval, but the offside flag was raised as he headed the ball into the net.
Filipe Luis levelled the scoring after 63 minutes with a well taken strike from the edge of the box. Koke delivered a sublime delivery into Griezmann ten minutes later, but the Frenchman was denied by Geronimo Rulli's fingertips.
Scoring goals has been Atletico's problem this season, but they found a breakthrough from an unlikely source when left-back Filipe Luis cut onto his right foot to find the bottom corner 27 minutes from time.
An inspired goalkeeping display from Geronimo Rulli looked set to deny Atletico as he saved from Griezmann, Fernando Torres and Saul Niguez.
However, Griezmann's bravery was rewarded with a fourth goal in three games when he slid in to meet Saul's looping header despite being sandwiched between a Sociedad defender and the far post.
