I should have been named Old Trafford boss after Sir Alex Ferguson retired - Eric Cantona

ERIC CANTONA reveals he should have been named Manchester United boss after Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
The former French forward, 51, added he would only consider a return to football should United come knocking for his services.
Eric Cantona reckons he should have been the man to replace Sir Alex Ferguson
Since Fergie called it quits in 2013, United are already onto their third manager - after David Moyes and Louis van Gaal both failed miserably.
On the appointment of the "Chosen One", Moyes, Cantona said: “Only I could have made them succeed [after Fergie’s 2013 retirement].
"Nobody else. Only me.”
Cantona hung up his boots in 1997 to become an actor and has no intention of returning to the beautiful game. When asked if he'd return to football, Cantona revealed: “No. Only to manage Manchester United.
“They won’t ask me. Maybe that’s why they didn’t win the Premier League." Cantona also claims Neymar made an horrific mistake swapping Barcelona for the backwater of Ligue 1.
The Frenchman tore into the Brazilian saying: “He will be playing against Lorient and Guingamp. "How is it possible to be a great player and go there?
“How old is he? 25? From Brazil to Barcelona to the French Championship. It disappoints me so much.”
Cantona also recently revealed he would rather Pep Guardiola be in charge of United... rather than Mourinho.
He claimed: “I prefer the way Guardiola plays, and I would prefer him as manager of Manchester United, it’s more logical."
