Juventus director confirms His club are hoping to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can

JUVENTUS director Beppe Marotta has confirmed the Italian giants are hoping to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
The German midfielder's contract is up in the summer, with the Serie A champions long-term admirers of the versatile star.
Juventus have confirmed their interest in Liverpool star Emre Can
Reports in Italy recently have even suggested Can, 23, has already agreed personal terms with Juventus, with Jurgen Klopp keen to keep him at Anfield.
But, it’s believed Can is looking for a huge wage rise if he’s to stay at Anfield, as well as a release clause should he decide to quit Liverpool in the future.
Now, with time running out on Can's contract, Juve's Marotta has revealed: “Emre Can is a name doing the rounds because his contract is running down.
"From February he’ll be able to agree terms. "I won’t deny he is a player we too have monitored and many important clubs will try to close a deal over the next few weeks.
“We are tracking the situation, nothing more.” Meanwhile, star forward Paulo Dybala has been dropped from Juventus' starting XI for Sunday's game with Bologna, with Marotta citing "personal issues".
Marotta claimed: “The Coach has to make decisions based on the group and not the individuals. "It’s a moment of difficulty for Dybala, he needs to find the symbiosis between the person and the personality, to paraphrase Pirandello.
"He has to find the calm and focus, as if he gets his head clear, then he can get back to putting in great performances.”
Marotta also denied homegrown hero Claudio Marchisio would leave the club to obtain more first-team football in the MLS.
He added: “Claudio is very attached to the Juventus jersey, he grew up in our academy and has asked us for nothing. I don’t think he’d move abroad.”
