Arsene Wenger drops huge hint Alexis Sanchez will quit Arsenal this month

ARSENE WENGER refused to rule out whether Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal this month and wants to spark a bidding war between the two Manchester rivals.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho sensationally tried to gazump City's move for the Chilean with a £25million offer PLUS Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is prepared to quit Arsenal this month
But the 29-year-old has hit heart set on the move to the Etihad and has snubbed the chance to join the Red Devils.
This month is the last chance for Arsenal to cash in on their superstar with Sanchez'scontract expiring at the end of the season.
And it appears the Frenchman is seriously considering flogging him in January but admits "nothing is concrete at the moment."
During his press conference, he said of Sanchez: "I don’t question Sanchez's passion, when he is on the pitch he is committed and wants to win. "We have had many conversations about people observing him and putting him under the microscope because of his short contract.
"I have told him he is always really committed, he never has a problem with his attitude or commitment.
"His form is not necessarily linked with the length of his contract, that could happen.
"Honestly I cannot tell you much more about the situation because nothing is really concrete at the moment. "You could say that at the moment, it’s not that I don’t want to inform you, I don’t want to give you the wrong information, there is nothing decided one way or another.
"A bidding war is always beneficial but we are not in that. Normally he should stay here until the end of the season but we should see."
United were also ready to better City’s £275,000-a-week salary terms but Sanchez only wants a move to the Etihad.
Arsenal are holding out for £35m, meaning City must increase their offer by £15m to land the Chilean. City was prepared to wait until the end of the season, when Sanchez will be a free agent, before going back for their man.
They want Sanchez now because of Gabriel Jesus’ knee injury and the chance to win an unprecedented quadruple.
Wenger left the forward out of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea dropping the biggest indication yet that he is on the move.
