Rejuvinated Odemwingie excites Osadiaye



Super Eagles striker, Joseph Osadiaye has singled out forward, Osaze Odemwingie as the most improved and outstanding in the 1-0 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Odemwingie scored the match winner in their Group F encounter in Cuiaba which confirmed the newcomers ouster from the global football showpiece.
Osadiaye said the Stoke City hitman's yeoman performance in the crunch duel is largely responsible for the renewed hope of the side progression to the knockout stage.
"Unarguably, Osaze Odemwingie is the best player on match day against Bosnia-Herzegovina despite the fact that he eventually scored the match winner.
"Odemwingie was the playmaker and displayed immense improvement compared with what we saw of him in the past game against Iran.
"Though football is a team game, Odemwingie stood out among his peers and has renewed our hope not only to qualify for the knockout stage but to further excel in the championship," said the Warri Wolves striker to supersport.com.
Osadiaye dubbed as the toughest duel the last group game against leaders, Argentina on Wednesday in Porto Alegre but predicted good outing for the Nigerians.
"Of course, that's the biggest game of the group the tie against Argentina on Wednesday.

"Argentina is vulnerable as shown in their performances against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran though they ran away victors in both games.
"The Eagles are steadily improving on their performance and if they up it more than what we saw against Bosnia-Herzegovina then they'll achieve a resounding victory against Argentina.
"Argentina is beatable, the Eagles just have to keep their cool and take their chances the South Americans will bite the dust," said Osadiaye.
