Pinnick, Keshi hold 'secret' talks

Keshi
Head coach of the Nigeria national team Stephen Keshi held talks with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday .
The talks were held behind closed doors.
Members of Keshi’s backroom staff, Daniel Amokachi, Valere Huandinou and Ike Shorunmu were also in attendance.
The details of the meeting are, however, shrouded in mystery as both parties refused to divulge the agenda when quizzed by the media.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick, however, disclosed that his interaction with the coaches was nothing more than “only making consultation with them” because he wants “a very strong and positive start for” his administration.
Keshi’s position as Nigeria’s head coach has come under intense scrutiny in recent days following Nigeria’s disastrous start to the 2015 Africa Nation’s Cup qualifying race.
The Africa champions are currently ensconced at the bottom of Group A with a solitary point from their first three qualifying games.
Defeat to Sudan in their next game on Wednesday will virtually end any lingering hopes of defending their title in Morocco next year.
