Coach Castori Sacked

Six matches into their debut season in Serie A, Carpi sacked coach Fabrizio Castori on Tuesday, with the club bottom of the table.

Castori was the architect of the club's historic promotion to the Italian top flight as Serie B champions last season.
But after picking up just two points from six matches, the club wielded the axe.
Several Italian media outlets have suggested Guiseppe Sannoni, who coached Catania in Serie B last season, will take over.
Castori's last match in charge was a 5-1 rout at Roma on Saturday.
