Barcelona to add Rafinha to fa our Coutinho pursuit

JURGEN KLOPP has reportedly voiced his interest in midfielder Rafinha, which could work in Barcelona’s favour in their pursuit for Philippe Coutinho.
However, there are a number of Premier League clubs that are scrambling for the 24-year-old’s signature this summer. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has asked the club’s sporting director to step up their pursuit for Rafinha, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Reds are reportedly preparing an offer between £26million and £36million for the 24-year-old.
Barcelona have labelled Coutinho as a top target, so the La Liga giants will be hoping that the two clubs can agree on a deal for the two players.
The Brazilian is focused on his recovery ahead of the 2018 World Cup, so will demand first-team football.
At Camp Nou, the Brazil international is always a secondary option within the well-knit Spanish side.
The Reds have already rejected an opening bid of £72million for Coutinho, with Jurgen Klopp refusing to cooperate with the Spanish outfit. Barcelona are open to offers for their attacking midfielder, but Rafinha comes with a release clause in his contract worth around £67million.
He has not travelled with the rest of the squad for their pre-season tour of the USA due to his knee injury.
Tottenham and Arsenal are also scrambling for the signature of the Brazilian.
