Hernandez coming back to the premier league

JAVIER HERNANDEZ will be announced as a West Ham player in the coming days after they announced a fee has been agreed with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 29-year-old is poised to return to the Premier League after a successful stint with Manchester United, where he is due to undergo a medical in London.  In a statement released by the Hammers, they said: “West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed terms for the transfer of Javier Hernandez to London Stadium.
“The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker will fly to London in the coming days to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical with the Hammers.
“Hernandez, 29, affectionately known as ‘Chicharito’ across the globe, became Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer in May this year.”
Co-chairman David Dold tweeted: “The former Man United and Real Madrid striker will fly to London in the coming days to undergo a medical.
In a major coup for Slaven Bilic, he has managed to nab the ‘Little Pea’ for a fee believed to be in the region of just £13million.
West Ham fans have been crying out for a prolific goalscorer in recent seasons, notably missing out on Alexandre Lacazette and Michy Batshuayi last summer.  However they have managed to lure over a striker to the London Stadium who has banged in 39 goals in the past two campaigns for the Bundesliga side.
Not only have they managed to acquire the services of their number one target in the striking department, but a player with proven experience in the English top flight.
He has netted 37 times in the Premier League in 103 games during his stay with the Red Devils, where he established himself as a clinical finisher.
His first year in England in the 2010/11 season brandished an impressive 20 goals as he helped his club with the Premier League, and two years later he found the back of the net 18 times, as United were yet again crowned as champions.
West Ham have been busy in the transfer market in recent days, having signed Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City with a view to a permanent deal.
They are also set to announce the capture of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City in a club-record fee for £24million.
