Ivan Perisic set to sign a new contract with Inter Milan

IVAN PERISIC will reject a move to Manchester United and sign a new contract with Inter Milan, according to reports.
The 28-year-old winger will agree to a new contract at £5million-a-year at the San Siro to put an end to rumours linming him with the Red Devils. According to Sky Sport Italy, the Croatian international is ready to commit his long-tern future to Luciano Spalletti’s side.
In a tweet, they said: “Perisic is ready to renew with the Nerazzuri: 5 million a year.”
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano echoed the same statement, tweeting: “Perisic is ready to renew with Inter: 5 million a year for his new deal.”
The news comes as a huge blow for United boss Jose Mourinho who has been desperate to add a wide man to his stable at Old Trafford.
It was reported this week that the Europa League winner were still chasing the former Borussia Dortmund ace, despite the Serie A side issuing a hands off warning.
Spalletti recently declared that Perisic is ‘determined to stay’ in Italy – reaffirming his desire to stay with the club.
United has a £35million offer rejected for the ex-Wolfsburg star earlier on in the transfer window, with Inter holding out for £50m.
