SERGE AURIER has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Manchester United.

Old Trafford chiefs are yet to agree a fee with Paris Saint-Germain for the right-back, who is also wanted by Chelsea. Goal’s PSG correspondent Loic Tanzi broke the news on Thursday afternoon – adding that United also need to sort out a work permit. Jose Mourinho has been looking for options at right-back, with Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian his current choices.
And Ivory Coast star Aurier, 24, would add undoubted quality after a solid six-year career in France.
But the Lens academy graduate comes with baggage as he was found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in Paris after he was stopped to take a breath test.
He was banned from entering the United Kingdom following his conviction and missed the away leg of PSG’s Champions league tie against Arsenal. And United will have to wait to discover whether the Ivorian successfully wins an appeal against the decision.
Aurier has impressed at the Pardc des Princes since arriving on loan from Toulouse in 2014 – signing a permanent deal a year later.
But the arrival of Dani Alves has pushed him down the pecking order, with Thomas Meunier providing another talented option.
