Wayne Rooney ordered to clean up his act by fuming Everton boss Ronald Koeman

WAYNE ROONEY was told to clean up his act on Tuesday in an hour-long dressing down by Ronald Koeman.
And the angry Everton boss has made it clear to the club’s highest-paid star he wants no repeat of the behaviour that led to last week’s drink-driving charge. Rooney, 31, has a fine of two weeks’ wages, worth £320,000, hanging over him.
That will only be handed out by the club should he be found guilty in court.
But Rooney still left after meeting with Koeman at 2pm with his ears ringing.
The hard-line Goodison chief is understood to have made it clear to Rooney he was very upset with him.
Koeman believed having given Rooney time off over the international break  he would just relax.
But while pregnant wife Coleen headed off on holiday, Rooney went on a ten-hour drinking binge.  He was arrested as he drove Laura Simpson home at 2am on Saturday after they had met in a bar.
