Antonio Conte reckons second consecutive title will be very difficult to achieve this season

ANTONIO CONTE admits Chelsea will find it tough to defend their Premier League title after slipping six points behind leaders Manchester City.
The Blues lost ground after Kevin De Bruyne’s winner gave City a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge. Boss Conte admitted: “I see the commitment every day but to defend the title, to win two titles in a row, is very difficult.
“Our motivation has to be high in every competition, to do the best in every game. Sometimes you must accept it will not always go to plan.”
Conte won back-to-back titles in Italy with Juventus but insists the task was made easier in Serie A.
The Italian added: “That was a completely different situation.
“I was expecting a really strong challenge from AC Milan after Juventus won the title but they sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain, so they became weaker.
“It wasn’t simple second time but it was easier. “Here, from last season to this season, you have big teams — and now they are bigger.”
Chelsea’s next game after the international break is away to Crystal Palace.
That match is followed by a Champions League clash against Roma at Stamford Bridge.
