Charly Musonda to quit social media and start focusing on improving his game - Conte

ANTONIO CONTE has warned Charly Musonda to quit fooling around on social media and start working on being good enough to be a Chelsea star.
Chelsea boss Conte was left fuming when highly-rated midfielder Musonda went public to voice his frustrations at his lack of first team chances. The 20-year-old Belgian posted a message on Instagram revealing his anger - only to swiftly delete it after the Blues found out about it.
Conte hauled Musonda in for a dressing down this week and left him in no doubt what his priorities should be from now on.
The Italian said: "I spoke with him and I think Charly understood his mistake.
"Honestly I think he has to continue to work very hard to improve himself and his physical aspect. "His mind should be focused on the pitch, not social media. I told him this.
"My task is to help him find the right way not the wrong way. "Above all with the young players it is important to speak with him, to explain how to choose the right way. I did this, I am sure he understood.
"Social media is not the most important thing in his career." Musonda has played just one senior game for Chelsea since being snapped up as a teenager from Anderlecht five years ago.
He scored a goal in an impressive Carabao Cup display against Nottingham Forest, and Conte believes there will be more opportunities for him soon.
"The only thing I can tell is I am sure he is a talented player. I see him very well, he has a really good prospect to be an important player for Chelsea. "He has to continue to work this way and I am sure the opportunity will come.
"Andreas Christensen can be a good example. After two years on loan, now he is a player ready to play for Chelsea. "Charly could have a good opportunity to play. We only have three number tens, this season could be good for him to show he deserves to play. I am sure about this.
"He is a talented player - if his attention is more on the pitch and not the social media."
