Gabriel Jesus has best undefeated Premier League record at 17 games

GABRIEL JESUS continues to be Manchester City's lucky charm... as he is STILL yet to taste defeat in the Premier League.
The Brazil forward, 20, has turned out 17 times for Pep Guardiola's side and never lost. That streak is now SIX games longer than the previous record, set by 1990s Manchester United midfielder Simon Davies, on 11.
The Welshman failed to lose in any of his first - and only - 11 games in the 1994-95 season, before joining Luton Town in 1997.
But Jesus has gone even better, as his two strikes in the 7-2 drubbing of Stoke at the weekend saw City move outright top of the Premier League.
The Etihad double-strike saw him take his league tally to an astonishing 13 goals in just 17 games. Jesus, who joined City in January 2017, also sits above another Man United ace in the undefeated standings... Michael Clegg.
The defender was on the books at the Old Trafford side from 1995 to 2002, and went nine games without losing between 1996 and 1999 - winning eight of them.
Former Danish superstar Brian Laudrup went seven games unbeaten at Chelsea in 1998 even though he was miserable at Stamford Bridge.
Laudrup was signed on a free transfer from Rangers but was unhappy that Gianluca Vialli had replaced Ruud Gullit as manager before he joined. He tried to get out of the move before he arrived in West London and then Vialli's policy of rotating players just made things even worse.
He made just seven Premier League appearances before returning to Denmark, but was unbeaten in all of them.
Ex-Aston Villa man Richard Walker went six games unbeaten - three wins and three draws - between 1997 and 2000. Jesus will have the chance to go 18 games unbeaten in the Premier League, when Man City host Burnley on October 21.
Manchester City have already scored as many goals after eight games as in the ENTIRE 2006-07 season... find out more now.
