Andy Carroll to be fined £180,000 by club for his red card against Burnley

ANDY CARROLL is set to be fined two-weeks wages after his silly sending off against Burnley.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic was livid with the striker after he got two yellow cards in two minutes for elbowing. Now club chiefs are ready to lay down the law on Carroll and hit him with a fine totalling £180,000-a-week.
The Hammers forward was booked in the 26th minute for a flailing arm hitting James Tarkowski.
As just 10 seconds of game time passed, Carroll flew into Ben Mee again with his elbow, and referee Stuart Attwell showed the second yellow.
The Hammers were 1-0 up through Michail Antonio before the sending off but Chris Wood managed to get a equaliser with five minutes left. And Bilic revealed his anger at the England international for getting dismissed and costing the Hammers their first away win of the season.
Bilic said: “For a player of Andy’s experience... basically, you can’t do that. “It was a big blow for us.
"I’m very disappointed and angry as well.
“I’m very disappointed, but not with the referee’s decision. "The first one can happen, but the second one, you can’t do that a couple of minutes later, especially when you play away you are asking for trouble.
“You don’t go for that ball normally because it’s out of reach, but he went to win that ball.
"It was just an unbelievably bad decision and bad challenge to even go there.”
