Manchester United will travel to Bristol City in Carabao Cup quarter finals

HOLDERS Manchester United will travel to Bristol City in the last eight of the Carabao Cup.
The Championship high-flyers landed a plum tie against the Red Devils in December for a place in the semi finals. The money-spinning clash is a fantastic reward for Lee Johnson's men after they defeated Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace 4-1 on Tuesday.
The Blues will face fellow top-flight side Bournemouth the week before Christmas.
Manchester City survived a huge scare against Wolves two days ago to advance on penalties against the second-tier outfit. And they have landed a tie at Leicester in their quest to land the first piece of silverware on offer this season.
Arsenal and West Ham will square-off in a London derby at the Emirates for a place in the last four.
The quarter final draw eventually was made by rugby legend Matt Dawson and former cricketer Phil Tufnell on Thursday afternoon - but it occurred in farcical circumstances with a delay of nearly TWO HOURS.
After suffering similar difficulties during the first round draw, fans were expecting the EFL to have learnt their lesson. It was set to start at 16:00, but fans tuned in to find a green screen with the encouraging words 'Starting soon' on the live feed.
After 20 minutes of silence, viewers were informed by the Carabao Cup Twitter page that the draw would now start at 5pm.
After apologising for the incident, the official Twitter page tried to tweet another broadcast stream for the draw. They were quick to delete the tweet after appearing to incur yet another technical glitch.
Fans were left seething at 17:00 to find that the stream was still not working - and it was not until just before 6pm the ties were eventually announced.
The EFL were also forced to apologise in June when Charlton Athletic were pulled out of the pot twice during the first round draw. Incorrect fixtures flashed up on the screen and Forest Green Rovers were given the wrong opponents.
Fans struggled to watch the action due to a faulty stream - a similar issue that was suffered today.
After a public apology from the EFL, fans were expecting a better show when for the quarter-finals - but they were wrong.
