Carabao Cup labelled a ‘fix’ by furious football fans

CARABAO CUP officials have been slammed online after releasing a pre-recorded video of the quarter-final draw.
It was expected to take place live at 4pm, but 'technical difficulties' prevented this. After waiting almost two hours for the draw to start, fans were shocked to see the official page tweet a pre-recorded video of the draw. The Carabao Cup's official social media page was continuously apologising and blamed 'technical difficulties' for the mishap. The draw was revealed as Chelsea v Bournemouth, Arsenal v West Ham, Leicester Cityv Manchester City and Bristol City v Manchester United.
Four of the Premier League 'giants' have avoided each other and are now expected to meet in later stages of the tournament. This has raised a few suspicions on Twitter...
All the best four avoid each other.

However, this is not the first time that the EFL have been left red-faced after struggling to organise a basic cup competition.
The first round draw descended into farce when its live Facebook video started with no sound and then crashed after the first club was pulled from the bag. During the second round draw, teams were pulled out of the hat twice which led to mass confusion. The ineptitude continued in the third round when a fixture was selected to kick off at 4.15am - so it's safe to say that the officials haven't quite got the hang of this yet. The EFL were quick to release a statement apologising to all of the fans that were waiting patiently for the draw to take place. The statement said: "The EFL would like to apologise for a number of third party technical issues that affected coverage of today’s previously advertised Carabao Cup Round Five live draw at Twitter HQ.
"The EFL has received an apology from Twitter UK for the delay which is believed to have occurred as a result of a faulty encoder. The EFL has requested a full explanation into the events that led to this afternoon’s unacceptable delay. "Twitter has also apologised to supporters via their UK twitter account. "A Twitter spokesman said: "We're sorry for the issues that led to the delay of today's Round Five draw.  We would also like to apologise to the thousands of supporters who had been patiently awaiting news of who their team would be playing.”
"The draw had been scheduled to go live at 4pm UK time but in the end the draw was pre-recorded and published to @Carabao_Cup Twitter channel at 5.45pm.
"The ties drawn are as follows and will be played week commencing 18 December."
