Chelsea to rival Manchester United and Europe’s top clubs for Gremio star Arthur

CHELSEA are set to rival Manchester United for £26million Gremio star Arthur.
The Blues have an extensive scouting network in South America, with David Luiz, Willian, Kennedy, Ramires and Oscar among their Brazilian signings in recent years.
Arthur has established himself in the Gremio first team
And Mundo Deportivo claim Stamford Bridge chiefs are trying to fend off competition from across Europe to land Arthur.
The midfielder, 21, has established himself as a first-team regular this season and appears to be heading out of Brazil to continue his development.
Compatriot Lucas Moura is also consistently being linked with the Blues as Paris Saint-Germain look to raise funds.
He could be signed as a like-for-like replacement if claims Willian has fallen out with Antonio Conte prove to be true. Willian staked a claim for more first-team chances with an equaliser against Liverpool, which many claimed was a fluke.
But the Brazil ace is adamant he meant to lob Simon Mignolet. He explained: “For sure, it was a shot – no doubt. Because some people ask, ‘you want to cross or you want to shoot?’
“I say I wanted to shoot. Too much quality.
“But I’m happy to score this beautiful goal. In this kind of game it’s important to score goals.
“So now we have to carry on and stay together in this moment because we want to win all the games.
“I always try to do my best, play my best football, try to score goals. Sometimes it’s difficult but always I try.
“I want to improve myself, game by game, help the team, and I have to continue in the same way.”
