JAVIER HERNANDEZ has been forced to deny he wants to quit West Ham.
The striker was signed by the Hammers this summer in a £16million deal to fire them up the table. But the former Manchester United man has scored just four goals as the club find themselves in the bottom three.
Reports have emerged that Hernandez is unhappy with life in London and plots a return to former club Chivas.
But Hernandez took to Twitter to slam the speculation.
He said: "(The reports) are completely false. I am 100 per cent committed to helping improve the situation we are all experiencing at West Ham.
"I have not asked to leave West Ham at any time."
New West Ham boss David Moyes is without the 29-year-old for his first three matchesafter Hernandez picked up a hamstring injury on international duty. The Hammers striker damaged his hamstring in Mexico’s 3-3 draw with Belgium last Friday, and will be sidelined for Moyes’ first game in charge at Watford on Saturday.
He is also expected to miss the home game with Leicester City and the trip to Goodison Park to face Moyes’ former club Everton.
