Jose Mourinho admits Paul Pogba selection dilemma as Manchester United struggle to find consistency

PAUL POGBA has returned to the fold after injury but the Red Devils boss admits he is treading a fine line with the French midfielders playing time.
Jose Mourinho has revealed the challenge he faces to get the most out of Pogba in an attempt to reignite his team's spark and find consistency as individuals and as a collective. The £89million signing was on impressive form before picking up a hamstring injury in September which kept him out of action for 12 games.
His return is proving problematic for Mourinho, who is eager to get him back to form quickly but without pushing him too hard.
Pogba played his first full game back in United's narrow 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday after being substituted on his comeback against Newcastle and again at Basel.
After the game, Mourinho told reporters: "It's hard for me to be on the bench and don't know when Pogba has to be changed.

"I want to play [Marouane] Fellaini earlier, I want to play Fellaini with Pogba.
"But then I don't know if Pogba is happy to be on the pitch under the fatigue line, or if the fatigue line has been reached. "It's hard to be on the bench with these dilemmas."
The 24-year-old's absence was felt by United who struggled to find consistency without him on the pitch.
"It's hard to be on the bench with these dilemmas." Romelu Lukaku endured an uncharacteristic goal drought, while goals proved harder to come by as a whole.
However, Mourinho's men still provide the closest competition for rivals Manchester City in the Premier League title race and are progressing well through the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
