Manchester City dominate Huddersfield with astonishing passing stats against the Terriers

MANCHESTER CITY are breaking all sorts of records this season, week in-week out.
And in the second half of the dramatic win against Huddersfield today, the visitors made TEN TIMES the number of passes that the Terriers did.

Pep Guardiola celebrates with man of the match Raheem Sterling after his side managed their 11th PL victory in a row
Huddersfield managed only had 37 completed passes in the second 45mins... which was dwarfed by Manchester City's mammoth 338.
Pep Guardiola's side bagged an 11th successive Premier League win, but it took until the 84th minute for them to take the lead as Huddersfield proved a strong defensive side.
Despite lacking their usual finesse, City's points from today takes their tally to 37 points from 13 games- a Premier League record.
Manchester City's stats from the game proved that they dominated in both possession, 79 per cent, and shots on target, five. But this comes at a price, the starting eleven's fielded today were world's apart- Huddersfield's costs £34.8milion, whereas City's is more than ten times that at £357.4million.
It is not the first time that Pep's side have secured a completed passes number that is so high.
When they faced West Bromich Albion away they managed 844, which prompted Alan Shearer to say that we were witnessing something very, very special.
Manchester United now sit eight points behind their neighbours who they face on December 10. Sergio Aguero has been somewhat of a goal machine for his side, three of those goals are penalties.
Interestingly, all of these penalities have been gifted to him by fould on Raheem Sterling.
Their win against Huddersfield equalled a club record from 2015 and they will be hoping that their home game against Southampton on Wednesday 29 will beat the two year old record.
