Jose Mourinho opens talks with Celtic over star Moussa Dembele

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has started negotiations to take Celtic star Moussa Dembele to Old Trafford, according to reports.
The France striker – who made his name with Fulham – is being monitored by all the Champions League’s biggest clubs and French paper L’Equipe claim United made a move.
Celtic star Moussa Dembele is a Man United target
The 21-year-old was set to move to Chelsea last summer but a deadline day transfer fell through and he remained with Brendan Rodgers’ side in Scotland. Despite having young, attacking superstars like Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial learning off legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Man United, Dembele was targeted.
Last season Dembele scored 32 goals in 48 games and was courted by Arsenal as well as their blue London rivals. Ex-Liverpool boss Rodgers – who had Luis Suarez at Anfield – says Dembele can be one of the world’s best strikers. Before the 7-1 Champions League hammering to Dembele’s childhood club PSG, Rodgers said: “I believe he has the talent and the qualities to go right to the very, very top.
"I've seen a big development in him as a young man and as a player and I really expect him over the coming years to develop and improve and go on to become one of the world's best strikers. "In my coaching life and in my managerial career, I've been involved in some top talents, especially at that end of the field.
“And I certainly think he's on course to be up there with the best strikers because he has all those attributes.
"He has that self-belief, but he's still very young. "He progressed really well for those years in the formative stage of his young professional career."
