Sergio Aguero fainted in the dressing room at half-time due to a drop in blood pressure

SERGIO AGUERO fainted due to a drop in blood pressure, SunSport understands.
The 29-year-old Argentina striker had to be rushed for hospital for tests after the half-time incident in the dressing room during a friendly against Nigeria.
The Manchester City striker was rushed a nearby hospital after the incident
He regained consciousness before leaving the stadium but underwent tests to determine what might have caused it.
And Aguero was awaiting for the green light to fly back to Manchester – where City are certain to want to check him out. The Argentina national team doctor Donato Villani said Aguero has encountered similar problems before when he was in his teens.
But it comes just over six weeks after he was involved in a car crash in Amsterdam in which he broke one of his ribs. And it was the last thing Pep Guardiola needed to hear as he prepares for a busy period between Saturday and the beginning of January.
Ironically Aguero had been in prime form for his country this week and put them 2-0 up against the Super Eagles – although they eventually lost 4-2. The Argentinian FA put out a statement which said Aguero “had a blackout and was taken (to hospital) so routine examinations were made only as a precaution.” It has been an eventful few weeks for Aguero who recovered quickly from the car accident then went on to become City’s all-time leading goalscorer.
