Atletico Madrid expect Antoine Griezmann to leave next summer

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN is will reportedly stay at Atletico Madrid and not leave in the New Year.
But the club are working on the assumption that the Frenchman wants to leave and will at the end of the season.

Antoine Griezmann will reportedly not leave Atleti in January

Atleti saw their Champions League hopes end earlier in the week when the group stage concluded and their third place finish saw them drop to the Europa League.
With his club’s exit from Europe’s top-tier tournament, Griezmann’s rumoured January transfer looked even more likely.
But according to Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague he will stay in Madrid for the remainder of the season.
The striker will eye a move in the summer with Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid all interested in his services. The 26-year-old was thought to be closing in on a move to Barcelona after asking the club to pay his £87million release clause.
But no agreement has been made with the Catalans or Manchester United who are thought to be the front runner alongside Barcelona. Jose Mourinho has set his sights on the forward again after they were snubbed last summer when he signed a new five-year deal with his Spanish club.
Griezmann is  open to a move to any of his suitors and the decision will ultimately be down to the player says Balague The France international wants reassurance that his next potential move will result in a completed deal to avoid a repeat of the transfer window in 2013.
While at Real Sociedad, Griezmann was on the brink of joining Arsenal before they pulled out of the deal in the final hours.
