Bayer Leverkusen 1 Borussia Dortmund 1: Andriy Yarmolenko rescues point for Dortmund at BayArena

DORTMUND scrambled a vital point to stop the rot at Bayer Leverkusen.
Andriy Yarmolenko struck late on for the vistors to earn under-fire coach Peter Bosz a stay of execution, but that is now seven games for Dortmund without a win.

Kevin Volland opened the scoring on 30 minutes with a left foot drive following a swift counter attack form the home side for his ninth goal of the season.
The visitors were forced into an early change when Max Philipp was taken off with injury to be replaced by Andre Schurrle.
Leverkusen were reduced to ten men when defender Wendell was shown a straight red for a dangerous tackle on Gonzalo Castro.
The initial decision was yellow, but it was dramtaically changed when the ref went to the VAR who upgraded the card to red.
Yarmolenko replied on 73 minutes, the Ukrainian forward reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box for his fifth goal this season.
