I would rather be STABBED than concede last-gasp equaliser as AC Milan did at Benevento - Gattuso

GENNARO GATTUSO insists he would rather have been STABBED than concede a last-gasp equaliser.
The new AC Milan boss saw his side throw away two points in the most dramatic fashion imaginable as Benevento goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli made it 2-2 with a stoppage time header.

Gennaro Gattuso says he would rather be stabbed than conceded in stoppage time
It was a real baptism of fire for the former Rossoneri midfielder, who had replaced Vicenzo Montella as manager earlier this week.
And after the game, he told Sky Italia: "I don't know what to say.
"This really hurts. I would rather be stabbed than concede this goal.
"We really suffered in the last 15 minutes and conceded a freak goal. "I could never have imagined conceding a goal to an opposition's goalkeeper."
Benevento came into the match with a European record of 14 straight defeats — and looked likely to make it 15. Giacomo Benaventura ensured Gattuso's decision to push him further forward bore fruit as he opened the scoring in the first half.
George Puscas brought the hosts level five minutes after the break. But the seven-time European champions were back in front following a Nikola Kalinic header seven minutes later.
However, they were pegged back in the 95th-minute in the most dramatic fashion.
Stopper Brignoli ventured forward and guided a sensational diving header into the bottom corner to cap off one of the most incredible finales in recent memories.
