His previous experience in England with Chelsea appears to be paying dividends, but Reds fans are worried that the Egyptian’s fine form could lead to interest from elsewhere.
Real Madrid are believed to be looking for a new forward, and Salah has been tipped by some as a potential Los Blancos signing.
His international coach Hector Cuper claims Real are indeed looking to launch a move.
While Egypt legend Mido claims he believes Salah will move to the Santiago Bernabeu sooner rather than later. And Zidane himself appears to be keen on a potential switch, hailing Salah’s current form while also gushing about his future development.
Zizou said: “Salah is a great player. He showed that at Roma, now at Liverpool. “He’s still young and is improving all the time. I don’t talk much about other players, but he is a player I rate a lot.”
Eden Hazard has also been mooted as Real’s next big signing, but may end up staying at Chelsea should Zidane opt for Salah instead.
