Mauricio Pochettino promises to pump up the music if Tottenham end Manchester City’s winning run

MAURICIO POCHETTINO has promised Spurs will pump up the volume if they smash Manchester City’s Premier League record tonight.
Spurs hope to end City’s run of 15 successive wins yet Pep Guardiola’s team angered Jose Mourinho with their celebrations after the Manchester derby – and they played music loudly before and after the 4-0 win at Swansea on Wednesday.
Pochettino, asked if there will be celebratory loud music in the away dressing room, said: "I wish for that.
"When we won our games, in Huddersfield or at Wembley against Stoke, the players put music on and it's so loud - it's normal.
"If you lose the game, you are not going to put on music.
"You are going to the changing room and you want to go back home. "But City are winning, winning, winning. It's normal they put music in the changing room.
"I am never going to complain if another team celebrates because sometimes it's good, when you lose, and you hear all that happens in another changing room. "It's good to feel the pain. With respect of course, because it's always about respect but sometimes it's good to listen.
"If we had run more, and we played better and we cared more, maybe we could have translated that feeling from the opposition changing room." Spurs head to City 18 points behind.
Pochettino also said there have been clear the air talks with the club’s coaching staff after Pep Guardiola labelled Spurs ‘The Harry Kane team’. Pochettino has not spoken to Guardiola but he is close pals with City coach Mikel Arteta.
He said: "I had some conversations with people from the coaching staff. In the end, it's not an issue.
"We have a very good relationship.
"I admire Pep and all that he did at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now at Manchester City."
