BORUSSIA DORTMUND could be missing several key players at the weekend - and it's all down to some dodgy kebabs.
The German team have been out training in Marbella Spain, but several of the players have been struck down with stomach illnesses after wolfing down chicken kebabs.
Former Chelsea man Andre Schurrle is one of the players who has been taken ill.
He has been joined in the medical room by Roman Bürki, Roman Weidenfeller, Marc Bartra, Christian Pulisic, Ömer Toprak, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Sahin and Dominik Reimann.
German newspaper
Bild reports that even without the nine players, Dortmund were still able to defeat Belgian outfit Zuite Waregem.
However all nine players are expected to have recovered from the illness in time for the resumption of the Bundesliga, where they face Wolsburg at the weekend. One of the players affected, Christian Pulisic, has been making different news of late.
For the American is seen as a highly valuable asset - both in terms of on-field and off-field productivity.
Pulisic made quite a name for himself during the United States' failed World Cup qualifying campaign.
