DIEGO COSTA refusing to return to Chelsea

DIEGO COSTA is refusing to return to Chelsea – even to clear out his locker.
The AWOL striker has told pals anything of his at the club’s Cobham HQ is up for grabs. Costa, 28, is determined to force a move back to Atletico Madrid after being told he is not wanted by Antonio Conte.
But the situation has reached a stalemate with the Premier League champions refusing to sell until he reports back for duty.
They say he should honour his contract and get himself back to the club to get fit.
Costa revealed last week he felt he was treated like a “criminal” by Chelsea and does not want to return.
There are comparisons with Carlos Tevez’s situation at Manchester City when he returned to South America after being accused of refusing to come on as a sub.
Tevez eventually came back into the City squad before eventually moving to Juventus. Brazilian-born Costa, who plays for Spain, has been back in his homeland over the summer instead of reporting back as requested three weeks ago.
Costa recently posted a video on his Instagram of himself running on a treadmill in Chelsea shorts as he prepares himself for an exit.
In the clip Costa was wearing Chelsea shorts after insisting the Blues were pricing him out of his dream move to Atletico Madrid.
