MONACO are lining up Carlos Bacca to replace Kylian Mbappe.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are cicrcling ever closer for France striker Mbappe, 18. So Monaco hope to lure Bacca from AC Milan to partner his Colombia team-mate Radamel Falcao. Bacca’s old club Sevilla are still favourites to re-sign the 30-year-old.
But his agent Sergio Barila told Caracol Radio:  “Monaco called me to ask for information about the player’s situation.
“He has already been at Sevilla and knows La Liga well so there is a chance.
“If he does leave Milan and if Sevilla offers an important possibility, I think it will be evaluated in a calm manner.”
Barila said Bacca had turned down a move to China and could yet stay with Milan.
But Monaco are hungry for a big-name recruit this summer after losing Benjamin Mendy to Manchester City for £52million and fearing Mbappe’s exit. French TV channel TF1 today claimed pacy teenager Mbappe has chosen PSG.
Their reporter Julien Maynard added: “Paris will now enter into negotiations with Monaco and quickly formulate a first offer.”
Real had long been favourites to sign him, especially after pictures emerged of Mbappe’s bedroom as a kid covered in posters of Madrid main man Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now, though, PSG believe Mbappe will follow £198m world-record buy Neymar to the French capital.
